In order to receive a Medicare rebate for physical therapy, your GP must provide a Medicare Extended Primary Care plan (EPC).

This makes you eligible for up to 5 treatment consultations with your nominated physical therapist in a 12 month period.

At Pro+Active Health & Sports Sydney, EPC’s are Bulk Billed so you will NOT be charged a Gap Free for this service.

If an injury sustained at work has resulted in a painful condition, there are certain rules and procedures you must follow. Notify your work of the injury, consult your GP and receive a WorkCover claim number.

Once all necessary documents have been acquired we can commence to assess and treat the injury. We liaise with your GP and insurance company, so the process is streamlined and recovery is smooth.
